The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Friday the U.S. economy added 209,000 jobs last month. Economists found the number “a bit disappointing” after 298,000 jobs were added in June. Real Estate employment appears not to have taken a summer vacation, but if you are, don’t leave town until you apply to one of the nearly 1,000 jobs on the SelectLeaders Job Network posted from our 12 real estate sites. Compare this to October, 2008, when Lehman failed and 35 jobs total were posted on the SelectLeaders Network. This confirms how strong our industry is today. Plus, August is the month when most people go on vacation or postpone their job search until September. The odds of landing your perfect career move, challenging with growth potential, were never higher.
