Corporate Accountant

Position Summary

The Corporate Accountant will be a key member in Finance and Treasury Department reporting to CFO.  This position will manage and be responsible for administering the enterprise’s financial activities and balances, adherence to policies, and development of enhanced practices.  The job may include and not limit to: cash management, budgeting, financial reporting as well as ad-hoc work which will have exposure to operation of all phases of accounting cycles and gain exposure to Senior Management and overall business. 

 

Job Description

 

  • Administrate payment system, evaluate invoices payment requests for compliance and finance control purpose, process approved payment to vendors as department requests.
  • Evaluate positive pay exceptions reports, respond to vendor and management inquiries regarding payment accuracy, outstanding invoices and payment problems
  • Administer all cashier bank activities and data in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedure as well as bank balances for financial funding propose. 
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and operating cash-flow and assist with month end closing including financial and management reports.  
  • Assist with audits; collect and gather information and supporting document for auditors.
  • Support department logistic work, including but not limited to manual paperwork filing, compliance process review, and etc.
  • Prepare and summarize company and real estate project budgeting based on the monthly expenses and project plan;
  • Draft budget reports, effective financial forecasts, and financial statements on a periodic basis for strategic planning and resource allocation for senior management decision (e.g. Construction budget, property amenity budget plan);
  • Assist in governmental tax reporting.
  • Research and resolve complex payment issues and recommend changes in policies and procedures as appropriate;
  • Work on Ad-hoc financial reports as necessary.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field;
  • 2+  years accounting & finance related experience;
  • Real Estate accounting or CPA firm experience preferred;
  • CPA or CPA candidate is a plus ;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Written and oral proficiency in Mandarin preferred;
  • Detail-oriented, time management and multi-tasking skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
