JOB SUMMARY

 

 

The Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Leader for Client s World Headquarter Campus outside of Portland OR, is a key client and leadership role on the account. The campus is over 80 buildings, 7 millions SF and 15,000 employees.  This leader will be responsible for over 250 CBRE employees providing services and experience delivery in Facility Management, Engineering & Maintenance, Experience (reception), Meeting and Events, Landscaping, Janitorial, plus some other services; and all support services (Technology, Sourcing, Operations, Finance, HR, & Communications.  

 

The right candidate is integral to keeping the positive momentum of the large team moving forward within the dynamic and exciting campus.  Thus requiring strong communication and leadership skills as well as industry knowledge of FM service delivery.

 

CBRE is seeking an experienced professional with IFM management experience and a passion for exceptional service. The position will report directly to the Global IFM Leader and be an integral part of the account leadership team.  While leading the facilities team, this person will interface with clients and other CBRE groups across the organization to ensure success.

 

In addition to the typical responsibilities (listed below), we have designed a Global Delivery IFM model that is designed and focused on the customer through the Consumer Journey. The IFM model is focused on a seamless, unified experience delivery approach.  Hospitality is essential to this model and embedded in the host experience delivery model we are implementing.  Per our contract, we are outcome (results) based.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Must be able to influence and develop collaborative relationships, building cooperation in the pursuit and achievement of organizational goals

 

  • Deep knowledge and passion about facility management.

  • Understanding of business and real estate drivers and constraints for large campus environments.

 

  • As a true business partner to the client, assesses integrated facilities organizational performance against, and influencing the client s long-term strategy.

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal/external customers that include, but are not limited to, the client, CBRE team and service providers. On-going management of these strategic partnerships and responsibility to ensure reporting and communication is frequent and bi-directional.

  • Accountable for process improvement and/or quality improvements in IFM delivery. Works with Sourcing lead, technology leader and director of finance to ensure appropriate level, format, detail, accuracy and schedule of reporting across the portfolio.

  • Identifies roadblocks and issues related to IFM delivery, works with other functional leads to resolve issues and escalate as necessary.

  • Owns delivery of functional reporting, data quality and controls.

  • Experience with High Rise buildings, Fire Safety and EAP, Unions suppliers, and Incident management.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Facilities Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline and an advanced degree is preferred.

  • Understands the larger, complex issues and trends facing the client, CBRE and the corporate real estate industry. Foresees opportunities and obstacles in making the business more competitive and shapes strategies or plans to impact those issues. Weighs alternatives and makes decisions.

  • Holds self and others accountable for results and for performance that goes beyond the basic standard. Provides people with clear direction, well-established priorities and expectations.

In addition to these program management skills, this position requires a deep knowledge of core facilities management subject matter including:

  • Knowledge of buildings and structural issues, architectural design, electrical, mechanical and electronic communication systems and knowledge of the country, region, federal, state, and local building and safety codes and regulations with a focus on deploying and supporting effective corporate solutions.

  • Real estate financial modeling, opex and capex book, cash, and tax impacts, and investment analysis methods (NPV, ROI, IRR)

  • Portfolio planning

  • Planning, forecasting and budgeting
