If so, then National Real Estate Advisors would like to hear from you! We are seeking an experienced, motivated Marketing Communications Manager to join our friendly team, based in Washington, DC.

Working closely with the Director, develop and deliver comprehensive marketing services that directly enhance the positive reputation, products, services, and growth of the company by utilizing a variety of marketing tools, including digital marketing, industry networking, and effective written and verbal communications.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive marketing communication services that directly enhance the positive reputation, products, services, and growth of the company, funds, and its subsidiary real estate development company.
  • Oversee the company’s social, public relations strategy, and manage a variety of digital marketing tools, such as videography, social media platforms, and email campaigns to position the company as a world-class, diversified, and socially aware investment entity.
  • Create excellent and timely internal and external written and verbal communications as requested and required for presentations, client reports, press releases, white papers, ESG related collateral, marketing and investor relations materials, newsletters, and other narrative as appropriate.
  • Regularly make recommendations for creative design, layout, branding, and use of language to support delivering enterprise-level final publications consistent with the company’s marketing strategy.
  • Research competitive investment firms and make recommendations by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising.
  • In all cases, represent the company demonstrating the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and credibility to communicate National’s mission, vision, values, and marketing strategy.
  • Remain accountable to maintain relevant content in all cases and communicate formal training of company brand standards to respective parties, such as employees, partners, investors, promotional personnel, and vendors.
  • Work closely with the Director in developing an ongoing rapport primarily with the company’s investment and asset management teams, assisting with overall brand and strategy.
  • Support the investor relations efforts, directly organizing and delivering dynamic events, some of which include annual investor meetings, real estate topping out ceremonies, groundbreaking parties, and related events.
  • Periodic overnight travel is required on an as-needed project-specific basis to attend meetings and special events.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an undergraduate degree in marketing, journalism, communications, public relations, graphic design, business, or interrelated field is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated skill, knowledge and direct marketing experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities is required. Commercial real estate experience is preferred.
  • Must possess highly effective verbal, written, editorial, and interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrated experience designing and delivering compelling and highly creative marketing presentations with the confidence and capacity to adapt, persuade or inform the specific audience.
  • Must possess demonstrated strength in marketing creativity, high energy, storytelling, teamwork, and listening skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.  Demonstrated in-depth sales and marketing, public relations, social media, and advertising acumen and techniques.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, complex professional business environment with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Must possess a high attention to detail, be resourceful and flexible, and have an aptitude for learning new marketing techniques and technologies (i.e., newsletter tools, presentation software, email automation, SEO tools, customer relationship management (CRM) platform, social media apps and tools, etc.).
  • Required to demonstrate intermediate application of Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and Adobe.

Work Environment:

  • This job primarily operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. It is a sedentary role in a professional environment; however, incumbent is required to regularly walk, sit, talk and/or hear, reach with hands and arms.
