Job Description:
 
You will be part of a 28 person Southeastern Multifamily team, recognized by the firm as one of the top producing teams throughout CBRE’s national multifamily practice. You will have an opportunity to work with and learn from industry leaders and to take part in high profile transactions across the United States. The position will include exposure to multifamily, mixed use, and land valuations, as well as provide foundational knowledge of Atlanta submarkets.

This position requires a desire for success, strong work ethic and aptitude to handle complex transactions.  This is a team-based role, which will require interaction with owners, C-Suite executives, and high-level corporate real estate decision makers.  This position will report to senior team leaders and the individual will be involved in all aspects of a multifamily investment sales practice.  A successful candidate must be articulate, very detail-oriented and take extreme ownership of work product. 


Job Details:

 
  • Responsible for all aspects of proposals, listings and follow through on project assignments and client requests
  • Operate financial models in Excel and provide in depth property analysis utilizing financial statements, rent rolls and other industry reports
  • Write compelling property marketing materials and client presentations
  • Participate in pitching and executing multifamily brokerage assignments
  • Ability to execute most facets of a transaction including property tours and investor phone calls
  • Work in support of investment sales professionals
  • Provides supervision, technical guidance, and training to individual employees within the team
  • Lead projects and assign tasks to members of the team
  • Critical to maintain timelines and integrity of information being utilized in assignments
  • Develop property insights and key selling points based on property and neighborhood tours
  • Analyze real estate trends and draw conclusions from aggregator research

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Management or related field of study preferred; MBA or related graduate degree a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, often in the absence of oversight, demonstrating care and pride in presentation quality
  • Understand the numbers and algorithms used daily, as well as the impact of various defendable input variables on model output and potential client results
  • Intellectual curiosity to become and be regarded as the content expert in important matters that sustain team’s standing as market leader for quality and professionalism, while also helping identify and vet worthwhile business line extensions
  • Ability to innovate improvements to financial models, client presentations and other team processes, aiming to improve efficiency and quality
  • Ability to work with large complex data sets
  • Highly organized work practices and effective time management skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and to anticipate critical path requirements in order to meet client deadlines
  • Willingness to work hard in a transaction oriented environment and to take ownership of project outcomes
  • Interpersonal skills that include the ability to influence teammates and clients
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills – ability to interact effectively and professionally with a wide variety of internal and external parties
  • Demonstrated interest with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in real estate

 

Licenses:


Salesperson or real estate brokers license preferred but not required in first year.
