(OFS) Loan AdministrationChicago, IL Full Time
The Loan administrator is responsible for monitoring and servicing a lending portfolio of 50 – 100 accounts/loans and providing customer service and support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Knowledge of Wall Street Office Administrator and Wall Street Office Reporting
- Daily Portfolio of Activity. Includes managing a portfolio of loan, which include LIBOR rollover, amortization payment, etc.
- Invoice/billing clients
- Ability to Review Credit Agreements to obtain pertinent information
- Cash Balancing
- Distribute Weekly/Monthly Reports
- Prepare daily funding requests and distribute for approvals
- Provide daily funding information to trustee
- Assist with monthly reconciliations of balances, spreads, LXID’s, etc.
- Monthly Update of the Customer Responsibility List
- Maintain/Create Loan Admin Files and Directories
- Trade reports for clients
- Assist with A/P
- Record commercial loan activity and provide information to accounting for income and expense recording purposes.
- Work with Analysts on monthly and quarterly invoicing on Agented transactions
- Provide customer services by keeping Borrowers and participants apprised of commercial loan activity.
- Answer questions regarding loan balances interest work as the execution partner and liaison with various functional groups and departments (e.g.: Investments backup from agent banks and any information found from researching the discrepancies.
- Produce loan activity and document tracking reports for internal use in performance analysis.
- Provide support to the credit function in the analysis of customer’s financial performance.
- Provide information and administrative support to the trustee as requested.
- Maintain integrity of Loan Administration databases and files.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs other special assignments as required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)
- High school graduate or equivalent experience required. College degree preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience loan administration experience in a commercial lending environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of commercial lending terminology.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel.
- Experience with Wall Street Office or similar loan platforms a plus
