Description
- Provide administrative project support to the Closing team both organizationally and in connection with sensitive project work
- Assist in preparation of closing documents, consents, UCCs, allonges, non-disclosure agreements, etc. with corporate authority for closing deliverables for real estate debt closings, mortgage and loan facilities and other transactions including arranging for signatures
- Assist in line lender fundings -documentation, question responses, transfers, etc.
- Maintain and organize hard copy and soft copy documents
- Assist with invoicing software in relation to outside counsel invoices
- Assist with know your customer and anti-money laundering information requests
- Assist with insurance and other third-party vendor engagement and coordinate report delivery
- Assist with logging and tracking litigation and organizing responses
- Organize and Maintain electronic storage [Dealroom & lntraLinks] storage of all documents related to closing, underwriting, asset management, and future modifications
- Maintain all approved vendor listings
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2-years of experience in the legal and/or business fields
- Experience in real estate closing and/or financial services industry preferred
- Experience in handling sensitive personal information preferred
- Flexibility regarding role profile and willingness to take on new projects and learn new skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills and time management skills- successful candidate will interact with Senior Management, external legal and closing professionals, all levels of personnel within the Debt Group, and coordination with external document Custodian
- Individual must be a highly motivated self-starter
- Organizational skills with ability to prioritize completing time sensitive requests
- High degree of attention to detail
- Must possess strong integrity and professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and other office software products
