Chicago-based Golub & Company LLC and its affiliates are active internationally in real estate development, acquisitions, asset and property management, leasing and corporate real estate services.  The Company has developed, owned or managed more than 50 million square feet of properties valued in excess of $10 billion.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to work closely with management on the execution of Denargo Market, a 13-acre development site in Denver’s RiNo neighborhood along the South Platte River.  This position will primarily focus on establishing the infrastructure of this multi-phased, mixed-use project and preparing the site for office and residential development.  The position will report to the project’s Development Manager in Denver and be responsible for these essential duties:

  • Manages all aspects of the construction contract and properly coordinates planning, budgeting, scheduling, design and construction of assigned project.
  • Leads the maintenance and risk management of the comprehensive capitalized budget.
  • Manages the selection, contract negotiations, administration, changes and payments of all third-party consulting agreements.
  • Determines required resources and prioritizes work according to the development schedule and impact on capitalized budget.
  • Facilitates the flow of project information with external parties including design team, third-party consultants, contractors, investment partners and jurisdictional authorities.
  • Attends regular OAC and other meetings that require representation of ownership and provides follow up and/or work product, always keeping owners’ interests in mind.
  • Assembles owner monthly draw requests and required monthly reports.
  • Organizes and oversees the preparation of cost estimates and risk assessments.
  • Processes owner change orders related to design, third-party consultants and construction to ensure proper completion of project.
  • Maintains strong working relationships with external service providers and industry professionals.
  • Coordinates Golub’s asset management and leasing team’s participation in project programming and design, as well as schedule of initial tenant move-ins and building handover from the general contractor.
  • In conjunction with Golub senior management, liaise with representatives of project stakeholders such as investors, lenders, community members and neighbors.   

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering plus minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in land development for commercial or mixed-use projects or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must possess strong understanding of design and construction processes as well as good oral and written communication skills.  Must be an organized multi-tasker with a commitment to quality, accuracy and promptness.  Above-average conflict resolution and integrated project management skills.  Advanced proficiency using current Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project or other scheduling software required.
