Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Real Estate and TOD, promotes UTA's TOD vision and strategy by managing the day-to-day TOD project operations and supporting coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Assists in the creation of development proposals and agreements. Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Development, or other related field required. Advanced degrees or certifications in Project Management, Urban Design, Architecture, Urban Planning, Construction Management, or related fields are preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Five years experience in transit and real estate development, to include property development, community engagement, project planning and design, and real estate financial analysis. Two years working with government entities regarding economic development issues, community building, and real estate matters. Two years managing project teams is preferred.
To carry out essential functions of this job, must have a valid Utah's driver's license with no more than four moving violations in the past three years; or, if a non-driver, must be able to travel efficiently by another means to and from varied locations within UTA's service area. Lack of a driver's license does not necessarily preclude employment. No applicant may have more than one violation of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs within the last ten years.
