Position Overview:
HRE Capital is expanding and seeks a highly motivated individual to complement the existing business development and analytical teams. Ideally the position will be based in a dominant market in Texas (Dallas / Houston or Austin). The Vice President will play an integral role in expanding HRE Capital’s debt placement platform nationally, while also assisting in the execution of other transactional real estate assignments (asset / portfolio dispositions, equity raises, joint venturing structuring, advisory work, etc.) for leading public and private institutional investors, real estate developers, health systems, and academic institutions. Engagements will vary in size from $10 million to $500 million or greater.


Requirements & Qualifications:
1) 5+ years industry capital markets experience within a brokerage firm, investment bank, lender, or investor.
2) Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate, or related field is preferred.
3) Self-starter with high integrity and intellectual curiosity are a must.
4) Strong negotiator with a proven track record of success.
5) Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects across various markets simultaneously.
6) Flexibility to travel as required to perform responsibilities including client pitches, property tours and attending regional / national networking events.
7) Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong presentation and business writing skills.
8) Attention to detail, team player and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
9) Proficiency with Argus and Microsoft Office required.

Master’s degree not required. Prior work experience in healthcare real estate preferred, but not required.

Compensation is competitive with market, with monthly salary and annual bonus based upon individual employee and overall company performance.
