JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to assist in the preparation of portfolio and related analysis through research, data collection and data management for the development of deliverables focused on real estate strategies in support of CBRE's clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in preparing financial and other analysis for a range of deliverables, including market plans, scenario options, process improvements, management practices, business unit communications.
Assists and supports development of research and analysis (e.g. market views, market dynamics, benchmarking, etc.) related to specific initiatives;
Assists in gathering supporting documentation in a variety of formats (e.g. Microsoft suite products, etc.).
Assists in gathering research on industry best practice, benchmarks, and other issues of concern to the client. May assist or coordinate in preliminary recommendations.
Documents cost saves from CBRE initiatives, nationally and regionally, as required.
May assist in budgeting process for capital and operating expenses as required.
Other duties may be assigned.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university required. Minimum 0-2 years of related experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Understanding of principles of information design and display. Assists in creating compelling documentation and deliverables.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite Products.
Working knowledge of advanced graphic/information design programs (e.g., InDesign, Visio);
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
