Sales Reporting Analyst

Job Description

OVERVIEW

CoStar is currently seeking a Sales Reporting Analyst for our Corporate office in Washington, DC. This position plays a vital role in the execution and processing of contracts as well as tracking and reporting all sales activity for the company. Additionally, this role will be instrumental in corresponding with the Sales department to resolve potential contract issues that may arise and help guide contracts through the fulfillment process.

In order to complete the aforementioned tasks, the Sales Reporting Analyst will be responsible for working with and developing productive relationships with various departments (not mentioned above) within the company including finance, accounting, contracts and sales operations to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute and process sales contracts
  • Record and report monthly sales results
  • Facilitate the flow of information between the Accounting and Sales departments
  • Gather information relevant to the contract terms and pricing
  • Update and maintain an extensive record of data extracted from the sales contracts
  • Provide reporting on sales performance to various stakeholders


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Excellent problem solving, research and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise professional judgment when necessary
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and able to interact with various levels of internal company contacts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Desire to be part of a team but also work independently
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
