Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Project Manager to be based at the corporate headquarters of a large international client in Plano, TX. This position will report to the Cresa Senior Project Manager based in Plano and will be working directly with local client stakeholders, ultimately being responsible for the success of each project. The Project Manager role manages or assists on multiple commercial construction projects, focusing on everyday project needs such as budgeting, scheduling, assembling project teams, attending meetings, providing coordination on projects, and conducting move/relocation management, among other tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Execution of various construction projects and assignments both locally and remotely for projects outside of the
    Plano area
  • Represent the client in all matters, including interfacing with the entirety of project team (contractors, architects, vendors, landlords, and tenants)
  • Proactively manage project-related issues on accounts or assignment
  • Understand and meet client and project requirements and manage expectations in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects, updating as needed
  • Prepare and maintain project budgets and financials, including cashflow and the change order process
  • Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation
  • Development of preliminary budget reports, analyses, project schedules, and client engagement agreements
  • Tracking of project requirements in client-approved software
  • Prepare and coordinate vendor Request for Proposal documents, review proposals and level
  • Coordination of monthly project invoices
  • Update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials
  • Prepare and update project status reports
  • Conduct and document all weekly meetings

Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or Construction Management, or Real Estate
  • Three or more years of project management (or similar) experience with demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, numerous deadlines, and conflicting priorities
  • Advanced knowledge of construction, architecture, and commercial real estate industries
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings; furniture, fixtures, and equipment; design and space planning concepts; construction costs and schedules
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, Smartsheet, and Bluebeam
  • CCM, PMP, and/or LEED AP preferred
