outlier is currently seeking an analyst to join the development dream team. As a Development Analyst, you will assist Senior Development Staff with the day-to-day management duties from acquisition through pre-development, pre-construction, construction, closeout, and pre-operation phases of the project(s) assigned. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a member of this team your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the oversight of design team and consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project timelines, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Assist in negotiating and drafting contract terms and scope with consultants and contractors.
  • Assist Senior Development Staff in securing the appropriate approvals, certifications, permits, etc. from city and other government agencies as required.
  • Assist Senior Development Staff in executing project contracts in accordance with department requirements.
  • Responsible for managing documents and communications in our file system.
  • Provide reports related to project status to Team and other stakeholders in monthly project status review meeting.
  • Assist with monthly construction progress reporting including but not limited to schedules, applications for payment, invoice collection etc.
  • Assist with the transition of a building from the development team to the property management team.
  • Assist with monthly asset management budget reviews and gathering information for investor reporting. 
  • Responsible for assembly of quarterly reports by gathering data from consultant.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to development, building design and construction and 2+ years of equivalent work experience. Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Experience in reading and understanding construction-related documents.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally on multiple projects simultaneously and supervise outside professionals.
