Primary Responsibilities

  • Support financial and operational planning, projections, and budgeting processes by developing and maintaining the following critical models and analyses:
  • Dashboards and reports within Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Operational and asset details within Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Monthly Revenue Model
  • Monthly financial forecasts for the company
  • Quarterly multi-year projection analyses
  • Quarterly balance sheet projection analyses
  • Annual Budget
  • Independently develop complex, detailed, well documented models with supervisor input
  • Prepare financial and operational reports/analyses factoring in historical information, actual results, current trends, and other relevant data points, as needed
  • Establish and maintain various analyses for tracking key P&L items
  • Establish real-time data management capabilities by working closely with all Area Leaders and Sub-Leaders of the firm to consistently gather accurate, complete, and pertinent information/data necessary to develop and maintain critical models and analyses utilized by management to make decisions
  • Understand all aspects of the critical models and analyses and have an analytical mind that can identify disconnections between the anticipated cause and effect of proposed management decisions and the actual results so potential errors can be identified timely
  • Ensure data integrity of all financial models and analyses through tracking of assumptions and quality control reviews
  • Be able to collaborate with other financial analysts and accounting staff throughout the completion of a project or analysis
  • Be willing and able to continually reevaluate our processes and suggest more efficient and effective ways to accomplish our objectives including the introduction of new software or other IT products

 

Qualification 

  • At least 5 years of financial analysis and modeling experience
  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning preferred
  • Experience with financial modeling
  • Real estate investment industry experience is preferred
  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance is required
  • Ability to produce excellent quality work that is thorough, accurate and complete
  • Has excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Works independently and with others; has complete ownership of work and projects
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills

Technical/ Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with Yardi a plus
  • Strong computer skills; experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe, Power BI
