As an investor and operator, Eagle Rock is focused on executing a value-add strategy on garden-style multifamily assets located in Northeast US.  Eagle Rock owns and operates nearly 8,000 units worth in excess of $1.3 billion and is currently in expansion mode, investing its fourth discretionary fund.

 

Eagle Rock Management is the management arm of Eagle Rock responsible for Property Management, Leasing, and Construction for our portfolio and Operations of the overall business. Eagle Rock Management is headquartered in Plainview, NY.

 

The Role…

 

The Operations & Strategic Initiatives Analyst, will support the Director of Operations & Strategic Growth in planning, executing, and measuring the company’s strategic operations initiatives from concept through execution. You will focus on projects requiring data collection, analysis, reporting, and project management to implement solutions that enhance Eagle Rock’s overall operations through technology and process change. In this role, you will collaborate and support other teams across the company and help them develop and implement strategic initiatives. Teams you will likely partner with include (but are not limited to): Property Management, Facilities Management, Leasing, Construction Management, Marketing, Information Technology, Systems Technology, Insurance, Lease Administration, Resident Services, Accounting, Asset Management, and Human Resources (including Hiring and Talent Development).  The goal is to inspire Eagle Rock Teams to reimagine, embrace and adopt the next generation of ideas, and processes, while helping our people grow, so that Eagle Rock optimizes the operations of its properties while developing best practices across the company.

You Will…

 

• Build a strong understanding of the relationship between Eagle Rock data and corresponding operations processes and procedures by analyzing the data sets.

 

• Perform data collection to enable the research, evaluation, and recommendation of technology and process improvements to enhance functionality of the Eagle Rock’s management and operations platform. 

 

• Develop new dashboards and reporting using Eagle Rock data for various operations initiatives to translate performance results of new initiatives compared to prior operations.

 

• Design and update project plans and schedules and communicate project status and progress to all stakeholders.

 

• Maintain status tracking and reporting for completed, in-process, and future initiatives.

 

• Work with department leads to integrate initiatives into stabilized operations.  

 

• Prepare presentations and communicate quantitative and qualitative results to senior leadership.

 

• Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals to remain up to date on trends and technologies.

 

• Support special projects and ad hoc requests, as needed.

 

 

 

Your Qualifications…

 

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in data and financial analysis. 

 

• Experience in multifamily property management industry is preferred, but not required. 

 

• Experience consulting on Operations or Organizational Structure is preferred, but not required.

 

• Exceptional analytic skills including problem solving and financial analysis with a Mastery of Microsoft Excel and Power Point.

 

• Comfortable utilizing and learning new technologies.

 

• Ability to translate data into clearly written persuasive presentations.

 

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels in the company.

 

• Demonstrate leadership, initiative, flexibility, and eagerness make a difference in the growth of Eagle Rock.

 

• Availability to travel overnight to Eagle Rock properties/markets (Travel estimated to be 5% - 10%).

 

• Driver’s License and ownership of a car.
