The Company

Broadshore Capital Partners is a nationwide real estate investment management firm with a 30-year history. Headquartered in Los Angeles and formerly known as Lowe Enterprises Investors, Broadshore manages approximately $2 billion in assets with a number of institutional clients including prominent pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurers, endowments, and high net worth individuals.

Broadshore makes debt and equity investments in multiple asset classes throughout the U.S including multifamily, hospitality, and commercial properties. Broadshores credit strategy includes the origination and acquisition of senior and subordinate commercial real estate loans secured by various asset classes including multi-family, office, lodging, industrial, and retail.

The Position

Broadshore seeks to hire an Associate or Senior Analyst to help lead the loan administration and servicing of Broadshores credit investments. The position affords exposure to multiple facets of the investment process and meaningful work across multiple geographies and all major property types.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ensure borrower compliance with the requirements of loans including receipt of required reporting, obtaining necessary approvals, delivery of budgets, satisfaction of debt covenants, and similar matters.

Review and analyze borrower financial reporting.

Communicate with borrowers, guarantors, and sponsors.
Work with third-party loan servicer(s), leasing agents, property managers and other third-party providers.

Review funding requests including monthly cash management and construction draws and oversee the processing of applications and disbursements.

Monitor operating and/or construction progress and proactively address issues or changes to approved business plan/strategy.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to internal and external parties and update internal valuations and hold/sell analyses.

Coordinate and review third party appraisals.

Ensure compliance with escrow and reserve requirements and re-forecast required reserves.

Review and approve annual operating and capital improvement budgets.

Review lease approval requests.

Assist senior asset managers on loan modifications, workouts, restructurings and resolutions.

Assist the loan origination and acquisition teams with aspects of the underwriting process.

 

Candidate Profile

Minimum of 3 years experience in a real estate finance capacity with a preference for loan servicing and administration exposure.

Bachelors degree required.

Experience in financial modeling and analysis.

Strategic thinker, coupled with the ability to dive into the details.

Strong financial acumen; technically and quantitatively adept.

Ability to serve internal and external constituents in a fast-paced and nimble environment.

An entrepreneurial mindset with the motivation to play a critical role in the growth of a platform, within an established organization.

Demonstrate a collaborative approach to building a business.

Superior interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills appropriate both for project settings and for interaction with senior staff.

Proactive and self-motivated. Strong work ethic, integrity and commitment to meet deadlines and complete projects with minimal supervision are essential candidate attributes.

Exceptional capability in managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

High level of engagement and ability to put in the hard work necessary to be a part of building a business within a business.

Effective written and oral communication skills with a direct and open communication style.

Exceptional capability in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point. ARGUS experience a plus.

The inclination to seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the organization's overall strategy.

The ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance; tenacious and accountable in driving results.

Compensation

Broadshore is prepared to pay a market competitive and performance driven compensation package.

Location Vaccination Requirements

The primary location for this position is Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY with hybrid work environment.
Covid - 19 vaccinations required for this position.

Any offer of employment will be contingent upon the candidates affirmation of being Full Vaccinated prior to commencing employment in the new role.
