View is already installed in over 35 million square feet and is growing rapidly.  If you dream of changing the world to make it a better place – join us.   POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking experienced Regional Directors to help rapidly grow the company in key metropolitan markets in Denver, CO and Chicago IL. View offers a complete high technology system applied to architecture and the build environment, delivering the world's best dynamic glass and sensor solution for occupant wellness, natural views and energy efficiency. The Regional Director is the key front facing company representative to the customer in a defined territory, responsible from a lead being identified through to contract closure.

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Development and execution of a sales plan for identified customer leads
  • Development of an opportunity pipeline, selling the solution to several stakeholder types (owner, architect, general/sub-contractor, engineers)
  • Meets a quarterly / annual quota
  • Develops field sales teams, prioritizes prospects, and mentors field colleagues to close new business
  • Develops customized benefits analyses, budgets, quotes, etc., communicating value and opportunity to customers.
  • Comfortable calling on C-Suite as well as project owners, and tailoring presentation and messaging to audience
  • Knows and understands their territory as a market
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree. MBA or similar preferred
  • 12+ years solution selling experience
  • 3+ years successfully managing a team of sales professionals in a region
  • Resident in Denver/Chicago area or willing to relocate to these areas
  • Dynamic, ambitious, looking for a position of high impact
  • Ability to sell in long sales cycle environments
  • Expect a very aggressive, self-motivated person with a demonstrable track record of winning
  • Ability to position a new product in a new or existing market
  • Ability to sell value
  • Ability to build long term relationships with customers and key stakeholders
  • Ability to differentiate oneself from other individuals
  • Understands and demonstrates an ability to close a deal
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and situations that require urgent attention
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with commercial construction / real estate / architectural specification is a plus but not required
