Florida International University’s College of Business Administration and its faculty are recognized internationally as leaders in the production and dissemination of real estate knowledge and are shaping this debate. In fact, the Hollo School of Real at FIU is ranked #1 in USA and #2 Globally for Real Estate Research. Our MSIRE Cohorts have been nominated in the top 3 of the Argus National Challenges.

FIU is also one of less than about 20 universities in North American that offer a graduate program in real estate. Program Highlights

A real estate major from the College of Business will prepare you to make decisions in the real estate and real estate finance industries. Explore the financial aspects of all real estate transactions, from residential to commercial to international, and learn about property management and real estate development. Graduates can understand the functions of real estate markets, practices, and institutions, understand the nature of the legal environment of real estate, appraise the real estate development opportunities in the commercial real estate markets for residential, warehouse, retail, and industrial properties, and solve specific problems or issues related to the analysis of real estate financing alternatives.

The Master of Science in International Real Estate (MSIRE) program combines real estate fundamentals with an international transaction focus. You will gain real-world knowledge in the areas of valuation, investment analysis and performance measurement, financing techniques, law, and accounting. Our programs are taught by one of the largest number of full-time research-acclaimed real estate faculty in the nation. Prepare to become ARGUS certified, and receive credit for three of the four required courses to earn your Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

You can elevate your real estate expertise as nationally recognized domestic and international experts share specialized knowledge and real-world insights. A few other skills learned are: Master the latest technology, including Costar, ARGUS for asset valuation and cash flow projections; GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for mapping and modeling geographical information; and other software tools for analyzing statistics, transaction history, surrounding community information, and comparable market rates.
