Job Description
The Vice President of Capital Deployment and Leasing will be responsible for identifying and acquiring industrial land sites, working with the VP of Development to execute best in class speculative ground-up development projects, and managing all leasing and asset management functions across the Northeast portfolio.

Manager:                Senior Vice President East Region

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Oversee and manage the operational decisions of the Company’s development, acquisition, disposition, and leasing opportunities in major Northeast industrial markets
• Identify acquisition and development opportunities
• Work collaboratively with the VP of Development to prepare development plans and cost projections, conduct due diligence, and secure required entitlements
• Prepare and present Investment Committee approval packages
• Develop and maintain industrial broker relationships
• Negotiate contracts and leases
• Oversee third-party leasing and property management  
• Other duties as assigned

General Qualifications Required

Education:             Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Business Administration

Experience:            Minimum of seven (7) years of industrial real estate experience in Northeast markets

• • • Successful transaction execution in development, leasing, and acquisitions
    • Real estate contract and lease negotiation
    • Capital deployment pipeline development
    • Strong industrial broker network

    • Strong organizational skills, must prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Work collaboratively in a team setting and also independently in a remote setting

Location

Preference is for this role to be based in Northern New Jersey. Will consider locating the role in Philadelphia, Baltimore, or Washington D.C., for the right candidate.
