Job Summary:
CoreVest is a leading private lender to residential real estate investors nationwide. We provide short-term financing for acquisitions and fix/flip projects and long-term loans for rental properties. We are seeking a Loan Closing Analyst who will be responsible for assisting the funding team in completing pre-closing and closing tasks: sending insurance requests to clients, pulling flood certificates, ordering funding shield certs, preparing the internal lender instructions/advance documents and assist in tracking appraisal orders.

We are seeking a Loan Closing Analyst who will be responsible for assisting the funding team in completing pre-closing and closing tasks: sending insurance requests to clients, pulling flood certificates, ordering funding shield certs, preparing the internal lender instructions/advance documents and assist in tracking appraisal orders.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Include the following but not limited to, other duties may be assigned.
- Ordering flood certificates
- Sending out insurance requirements to clients
- Reviewing insurance policies and requesting revisions if needed
- Prepare internal CoreVest lender instructions and advance documents
- Assist in managing and tracking appraisal orders
- Reviewing appraisal reports
- Updating/Entering advance level information in Salesforce
- Placing & reviewing Funding Shield orders
- Communicate with borrowers, third parties and internal business partners during diligence to facilitate efficient loan closing
- Coordinate the preparation of title commitment and deeds and facilitate the clearing of title exceptions.
- Coordinate with internal deal teams and external vendors regarding pipeline forecasting
- Ensure closing packages are complete and handoff to post closing
- Additional duties as requested by management
Minimum Requirements: The responsibilities listed below are required. Accommodations may be made to enable the individual with disabilities to ensure the individual can perform the essential functions and responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Prior experience in commercial or residential real estate loan closing and funding a plus
- Escrow and title experience are pluses
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
- Thrives in a team environment and contributes to a collaborative culture
