Greystone Commercial Capital (GCC) is a division of Greystone that originates loans to institutional sponsors in addition to production across all of Greystone’s capital sources.
GCC is rapidly expanding nationally and seeks experienced loan originators capable of sourcing business from institutional sponsors such as REITs, pension funds, private equity and HNW family offices.
The candidate will be an integral part of the growth and development of Greystone’s overall commercial mortgage business. The candidate can be located in New York, Dallas, Chicago, Washington DC, San Francisco, or Miami.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new borrower/intermediary relationships
- Manage existing borrower/intermediary relationships
- Structure multifamily, healthcare, and commercial mortgage loans
- Negotiate mortgage loan terms with borrowers/intermediaries
- Successfully guide borrower clients from commitment through underwriting to closing of the loan
Experience, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Minimum four (4) years prior experience in commercial mortgage lending
- Proven track record
- Strong client relations
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Attention to detail / thoroughness / focus
- Determination and willingness to work long and hard to grow a business
- Creative with a focus on solutions
