Real Estate Investment Analyst
Tahoma Capital Partners is a real estate investment firm primarily focused on core plus, value-add and opportunistic real estate acquisitions across the United States. Our exclusive platform provides collective investment opportunities in direct deals. Tahoma Capital Partners (through its affiliate) has transacted on over $2.7 billion and currently owns and manages 14 properties totaling over 4,000 units.
As a Real Estate Investment Analyst, you will work closely with the principals of the firm at every stage of the investment process. You will play an integral role in executing transactions, managing portfolio investments, and supporting corporate development. You will quickly gain valuable experience as you develop robust financial models, assist in asset management, and evaluate potential acquisitions in commercial real estate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Underwriting new acquisition opportunities and interacting with brokers to gather data to present to principals
- Maintaining and conducting a variety of real estate market analytics
- Developing marketing/presentation materials for the firm and its investors
- Assisting in due diligence efforts during acquisition, disposition, and financing processes
- Completing asset management assignments including operational/financial analyses, investment distribution schedules, sale/financing studies, capital projects schedules, and asset valuations and financial modeling
- Working closely with the team on asset, accounting, and financial reporting assignments
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in four-year institution with a major in business, economics, accounting, or finance
- Relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, real estate, corporate development, management consulting, or related financial services preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and exceptional and advanced Excel skills required with complex financial modeling experience, familiarity with shortcuts, macros, etc.
- Strong work ethic and responsiveness, strong desire to learn, and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Collaborative and proactive approach with the confidence and capability to act autonomously
- Available for domestic travel as needed, including ability to drive to designated sites for in-person visits
- Must have US work authorization
- Less than 2 years of work experience in the related field
JOB TYPE: Full-time
PAY: $65,000 base salary with ability to reach up to 50% of base in bonus
